Gone Ghetto Fishing - Part 3

This post is the third in a series of one, two, three posts on ghetto fishing in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Tingley Beach. Constantly, I refer to Tingley Beach as "ghetto fishing." Which certain elements honestly are ghetto (homeless dudes hanging out, garbage occasionally present when park workers aren't able to clean it up promptly, man-made not natural lake) fishing there is a lot of fun.

Today my buddy Efrain and I went down to Tingley Beach to catch some fish. My fishing skills are still developing, but today Efrain was a fishing machine! He rapid-fire caught four, big, lake trout within an hour window. We were both using the green power bait, but Efrain has a sliding sinker while I had a fixed sinker. That was his daily limit for trout at Tingley Beach.

An Overview of Tingley Beach

Total Score: Efrain 4 fish. Brian 0 fish. Brian + Efrain had fun. Efrain was also generous and gave me one of his fish to eat.
